(For Android) Steps aren’t being counted / doesn’t display properly

Please follow the steps below to check the settings on your smartphone.
Physical activity
- Press and hold the “How are you?” icon and select “App info”.
- Tap “App permissions”.
- Tap “Physical activity” and select “Allow”.
Background usage
- Press and hold the “How are you?” icon and select “App info”.
- Tap “App battery usage”.
- Turn on “Allow background usage”.
- In addition, tap “Allow background usage”.
- Tap “Unrestricted”.
Battery Saver
- Open the “Settings” app.
- Tap “Battery”.
- Tap “Battery Saver” (or “Power Saving Mode”).
- Turn off “Use Battery Saver”.
Adaptive Battery
- Open the “Settings” app.
- Tap “Battery”.
- Tap “Adaptive Battery”.
- Turn off “Use Adaptive Battery”.
⚠️ In addition to the above, please check whether there are any model-specific battery limit settings.
(Note1) In June 2025, the link between Google Fit and other apps was discontinued. Therefore, the app has changed to record the number of steps on its own from version 6.0.0.
(Note2) Some Android devices (such as Samsung’s A series) do not allow to use the pedometer sensor to third party apps, so the number of steps may not be displayed. We apologize for this and thank you for your understanding.
